Willow Brook
In the Fall of 2025, Heart Forward was presented with the unique opportunity to join a shared space and imagine a place of community, connection and purpose. 4665 Willow Brook has been graciously made available to several organizations rent-free by Our Lady Queen of Angels Housing Alliance, while they work to develop a new affordable housing project on this property in 2026. Heart Forward joins 6 community partners as a member of the newly defined “Willow Brook Collaborative.” We are thrilled to be a part of this model of resource sharing in action!
Heart Forward is working with our peer advisory board, The Sandbox, to help guide our use of this space as we seek to activate it as a local “Third Place” for people navigating their mental health journeys to co-create a space of welcome, mutual accompaniment, and thriving. We have begun weekly Community Friday gatherings and envision jam sessions, calligraphy classes, knitting circles, music lessons, facilitated discussion hours, cooking, and open mic events! In addition to our gatherings, The Sandbox has access to our shared space at Willow Brook and will be supported to host events like movie screenings, spoken word nights, discussion sessions, and more.
